Low Key Photography – Portrait Shooting

Low–key photography is a type of photography that consists of creating dark scenes, and using light only on very specific areas of the image.

In my studio low-key assignments, I make use of different flashes and soft boxes in order to create this artistic effect and highlight certain areas of the face and body. The choice of the right camera settings is crucial in order to have a dark background that allows the flash to be the only source of light. The flashes can be positioned in different angles to create different effects and photography lightings.

All photographs are printed with pigmented ink on high quality Fine Art paper or Fine Art canvas for maximal durability (more than 80 years) and coated to protect from UV, finger marks and humidity.

Two choices of Fine Art paper are available (either shipped as print only or mounted on Aluminium Dibond 2mm):

Hahnemuhle Photo RAG 310 gsm Bright White (mat)
Rauch Pearl 300 gsm Bright White (mat)

The Fine Art canvas is Hahnemuhle DAGUERRE 400 gsm (mat) (either shipped as canvas only or mounted on a wooden frame).

All prints are available in different sizes and will be signed personally.
