Somewhere in Mangystau This area in the Mangysta Somewhere in Mangystau This area in the Mangystau region in Kazakhstan is made of a salt marsh and some amazing colorful rock formations. I visited last year and was amazing about this spot as well as so many other mesmerizing landscapes the region has to offer. A set of this magical swiss lake taken last Decemb A set of this magical swiss lake taken last December while escaping Basel to capture some meteors. Unfortunately that night was not suitable for them due to not that clear sky. But sometimes a simple night sky suits very well to a scene. Couple of sunset shots from this icy environment.
Geminids 2025 - Finally coming out with my composi Geminids 2025 - Finally coming out with my composition of the Geminid meteor shower in December 2025. I was first hoping to get a nice reflection or frozen lake but discovered it covered entirely with snow. Besides the chalet kept its lights on all night. Therefore I had to change my first composition choice but at the end I’m quite happy with the outcome which brings some warmth into the image. After shooting foreground and sky .. I left both my cameras shooting continuously to capture as many meteors as possible. I’m really proud about the final composite and tried to implement new processing options. #engadin #engadine #stmoritz #myswitzerland🇨🇭 #geminids

While transitioning from 1 spot to another one to While transitioning from 1 spot to another one to capture the Geminid meteor shower, we stopped with @benjaminbarakat at a wonderful waterfall here in Switzerland. The wish was to get some snow around the foreground. This is a composite image with pano FG shot at blue hour while Orion shot at open sky later in the night.
