Portfolio - Mangystau Went there in 2025 for the Portfolio - Mangystau Went there in 2025 for the first time and totally fell in love with the landscapes. It is an adventure to visit as most of the locations are very remote but totally worth it. I was there with a fantastic local crew who takes care of everything logistical aspects (driving, camping, cooking, generator, etc) Even though I’m super happy about the shooting and images I captured, there are so many more compositions I would like to frame and would likely plan another trip there in 2027. Apart from amazing landscape photographic opportunities, one of my objectives was to capture some astro and aurora shots. I quickly figured it out why you don’t find that many night images on social media and Google. Cloudy, rainy, moody are the rule there but it gives such dramatic atmosphere and living it.
Total Solar Eclipse - Spain - August 12th 2026 Th Total Solar Eclipse - Spain - August 12th 2026 This is a composite image highlighting the diamond ring over Castillo de Ucero. The foreground was shot at blue hour while the sky during the eclipse totality phase. However the orientation is exactly what is to be expected. The “diamond ring” was for me the most amazing moment during the eclipse and wanted to share it with you in this image.
Total Solar Eclipse - Spain - August 12th 2026 Gl Total Solar Eclipse - Spain - August 12th 2026 Glad to share my first processed image of my first ever total lunar eclipse. Sequence shot from 6:30 to 9:22pm every 3 minutes at 28mm - ISO 400 - f8 - 1/500 seconds during partial phase and 1/30 seconds during totality. I joined @benjaminbarakat tour to experience the phenomenon together with other photographers and glad I did it. Super organization and even made it on Spanish TV.
